Mashpee Man Arraigned On Drug Distribution Charges

Two Mashpee residents were arraigned for multiple drug-related offenses at Falmouth District Court on Monday, August 9.

According to police reports, Mashpee police had been surveilling Michael Lopes, 40, for a few months prior to making an arrest. Police obtained search warrants for his home and vehicle and found knotted and corner-cut baggies, consistent with the distribution of illegal substances. Police also seized more than $9,000 in cash, multiple cell phones, drug paraphernalia and two controlled substances, one of which was fentanyl. He was subsequently charged with the distribution of a Class A drug and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

Police also apprehended Jennifer Mills-D’Angelo, 49, who lives with Mr. Lopes, and charged her with possession of a Class A drug and conspiracy to violate drug laws.
