Local Developer Acquires Flying Bridge Property, Restaurant To Remain

Falmouth builder Mark Bogosian, the owner of Longfellow Design Build, has entered an agreement with the owner of the Flying Bridge property, William C. Roberts of Wellesley, to take over the land and adjacent dock slips.

The agreement is a 20-year lease with an option to buy at the close.

“I’ve been enjoying the Flying Bridge since I first came to Falmouth,” Mr. Bogosian said. “My wife was working at the Flying Bridge when I first met her and I’ve kept my boat there ever since. Bill Roberts, a mentor of mine, also has the same love and passion for the property. Together we worked out a long-term agreement to carry on the great environment.”

Mr. Roberts has been the owner of the land for some time, and recently entered into an agreement with Mr. Bogosian that transfers the property to his company. Mr. Bogosian has said that there are no plans for any large-scale changes to the property, and the Flying Bridge Restaurant, which is located on the property, will remain the same and continue to operate as usual.

“I am very fortunate and grateful to work with Bill Roberts to transition the property to our team,” Mr. Bogosian said. “My involvement is with the real estate and the docks; the Flying Bridge restaurant has not changed. I’m very excited to continue to go to the Flying Bridge Restaurant, they have the same team and it will continue to be a great Falmouth restaurant.”
