Mashpee Announces Weekend Parking Ban Due To Forecast
Based on the forecasted winter weather, the Town of Mashpee has instituted a parking ban on roads town wide beginning tomorrow, Saturday, February 8 at 6 PM.
Notice of the parking ban posted to the Town of Mashpee website around 10 AM on Friday morning, February 7. The parking ban will be in effect from 6 PM Saturday to 6 PM Sunday, February 9.
Residents are asked to refrain from parking on roadways during this timeframe. Violators will be ticketed or towed at the owner's expense, the town said.
Additionally, the town advised the the opening of the Transfer Station on Sunday may be delayed. Residents are advised to contact the Department of Public Works at 508-539-1420 to confirm hours of operation.
