Biker Transported After Being Struck By Pickup Truck

A 48-year-old bicyclist was transported to Cape Cod Hospital on Sunday morning after being struck by a pickup truck in Mashpee.

The incident happened around 9 AM Sunday morning near Orchard Road in Mashpee. The man suffered possible fractures and road rash, but was conscious when first responders arrived on the scene. He was transported as a trauma alert for evaluation.
